While media have overnight and this morning portrayed Rio Tinto Alcan New Zealand Limited’s (RTANZ) submission to the select committee hearing submissions on the ETS law as a threat to close the plant and walk away, and a “slam dunk” against the policy, the company’s principal submission makes no such threat.
