Nats deny any ETS deal with Government

National is denying reports that it is gearing up to do a deal with Labour over the emission trading scheme, and the Government isn’t commenting.
On Friday, the National Business Review reported that the two big parties were working on a compromise over the scheme which would see National back the Government’s bill if Labour agrees to drop the moratorium on thermal power stations.
