More than $1 billion invested for New Zealanders’ futures is supporting some of the world’s most polluting and environmentally destructive companies, a report released today by WWF-New Zealand reveals.
Fossil Fuel Finance in NZ: The Superannuation Fund and ACC shows how the two largest state-owned investment agencies have more than $1 billion of a total of $40 billion of assets invested in the fossil fuel industry worldwide.
