Exposing domestic electricity consumers to the spot market would lead to substantial cuts to greenhouse gas emissions, the Solar Energy Association says.


Chief executive Adrian Kerr says that while affordable technology is now available to allow domestic consumers to shift usage to off-peak periods, there is no incentive for them to do so.
