Don't blame biofuels, says minister

The Government is denying its decision to scrap the biofuels obligation contributed to Solid Energy’s financial meltdown.
The Energy (Fuels, Levies and References) Biofuel Obligation Repeal Act was rushed through Parliament under urgency in December 2008 by the then newly elected National Government, with the support of the Act Party.
