Power plants cut gas emissions

Greenhouse gases emitted by United States power plants fell 4.6 per cent in 2011 from the previous year as the industry burned less coal, says a new report.
The report is by the Environmental Protection Agency which has posted the second year of greenhouse gas emissions data on its website, which provides public access to emissions data by sector, by greenhouse gas, and by geographic region such as county or state.
