New Zealand’s true Kyoto liability might be closer to $1.5 billion, based on current emission credit prices.
According to New Zealand broker OMFinancial, yesterday’s trading price for CERs of more than 16.00 euros raises the question: does this mean the true liability as of today is closer to NZ$1.5 billion?
