The New Zealand carbon market continues to follow the international market lower, with NZUs trading under NZD3.00 this week to post a low of $2.55 (offer), Westpac says.
The spread between NZUs and international allowances has increased in recent weeks with the falling international price, predominantly driven by a limited supply of local units.
