Huge propellors on the Bahrain tower
Three 100-foot-wide propellers have began turning between the two towers of the recently completed World Trade Centre building in Bahrain.
The skyscrapers’ wing shape funnels the shore winds between the 54-storey buildings to provide energy for turbines, which are expected to provide more than 10 per cent of the building’s energy.
