Price floor key to Australian market

Australia’s price floor will decide the price of Australian Allowances during the first three years of Australia’s emissions trading scheme, an international carbon analyst is predicting.
Ingvild Sorhus, of Thomas Reuters Point Carbon, says that if the price floor and the cap remain at the level they are set at in law, then the price of Australian Allowances will be A$15 in 2015, rising to A$17.05 by 2017.
