Worried regional leaders gathering in Wellington tonight will discuss a report that predicts some far-flung regions will be hardest hit by the emissions trading scheme.
Local government New Zealand chief executive Eugene Bowen told Carbon News that the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research report released yesterday would be the main topic of conversation at tonight’s informal gathering of the regional leaders sub-group.
