The electricity, industrial and transport sectors will continue to be sheltered from the full force of the Emissions Trading Scheme.
The National Government’s environmental policy paper Building a Bluegreen Future, released last weekend, says that the cost of slowing down the implementation of the scheme, as recommended by the ETS review panel last year, is being assessed.
