EU charge could cost Airbus $3.8m

An Asian airline is threatening to scrap an order for 10 Airbus jets over a European Union carbon charge imposed on global airlines.
Honk Kong Airlines, a subsidiary of Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines, said it was under pressure from Beijing to cancel the order for the A380 superjumbos worth about $3.8 billion.
