The Gillard Government has given details of how it will set up a $10 billion Clean Energy Finance Corporation, which will provide a new source of finance to renewable energy, energy efficiency and low emissions technologies.


The corporation will be charged with encouraging private investment and helping to overcome capital market barriers to commercialising clean energy technologies.
