Doctor fears climate treaty challenge

A Maori public health specialist says that the Government is failing to address climate change – and that could leave the way open for a Treaty of Waitangi challenge.
Yesterday, Auckland University public health lecturer Dr Rhys Jones told the Public Health Association conference in Christchurch that climate change is the defining public health issue of the century.
