Philippines bank to sell carbon credits

The Development Bank of the Philippines has agreed to sell carbon credits to a Singapore-based carbon emissions trading company, becoming the second Philippines bank to take advantage of a recovering carbon market.
DBP, the country’s fifth-largest bank, said it has signed an emissions reduction purchase agreement with Singapore-based Tricorona Carbon Asset Management Ltd, which is engaged in emissions trading.
