NZ carbon at $20 a tonne

While the view locally is that the price of New Zealand carbon may weaken (based on a perceived overhang of credits in the market later this year - EITE/Pre-1990), at this point there is bidding interest in the spot NZU market at €10 which is NZ$20 per tonne, OMFinancial reports.
The New Zealand dollar has weakened substantially overnight – now trading at .5008, which increases the price for New Zealand carbon.
