Protests force slowdown on full-speed-ahead ETS

The Government has been forced to back down over plans to restrict oral submissions on changes to the emissions trading scheme to 50 – all of which were to be heard today.
As Carbon News revealed this morning, finance and expenditure committee chair and National Party MP Craig Foss had planned to restrict oral submissions to around 50, and to hear them today in 10-minute slots.
