Reluctant farmers ready to set reduction target

Federated Farmers will set its policy on New Zealand’s 2020 emissions reduction target later this week - but the federation is still holding out for the emissions trading scheme to be scrapped.
Federation president and climate change spokesman Don Nicolson told Carbon News that the abolition of the scheme is still the federation’s preferred outcome.
