New Zealand and the United States' negotiations over critical minerals have raised questions for the Waitangi Tribunal’s long-running inquiry into climate change.
Claimants to the Waitangi Tribunal’s Climate Change Priority Inquiry are asking for urgent clarification about whether the discussions are consistent with Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations and Māori participation rights.
