Australia unveils new renewable energy targets

The Australian Government has introduced laws aimed at driving renewable energy investment and curbing greenhouse emissions.
The Labor government hopes laws setting a 20 per cent target for renewable energy use by 2020 in Australia's currently coal-reliant electricity supply will spur up to $22 billion worth of investment in solar and wind projects.
