All but ACT voters back 10 year ban on new thermal generation

New polling due out this morning shows 58% of New Zealanders back the Government’s proposed ban on building new baseload thermal power plants during the next 10 years.
Business organisations, including those supporting the new emissions trading market, are overwhelmingly recommending MPs remove the ban from the ETS and renewabe energy bill now before the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee.
