Australian ETS goes to House

Australia has introduced its ETS legislation into the House and now the test will come from the Liberal opposition and the Greens to either support the legislation or the give the Government its double dissolution trigger to go the polls for an early election.
The Greens have indicated they won’t support it, but they risk being shut out of the climate change game politically if they don’t. If the Greens do support it, the Government needs one independent senator to support the legislation.
