European carbon prices down, but CERS up slightlly

Carbon was mixed overnight; European prices (EUAs) fell slightly in response to weaker energy prices, but secondary CERs rose on average about 2 per cent across all vintages.
Economically, the data out of Europe overnight was mixed, with news that the euro zone's services and manufacturing sectors posted their best performance in six months in April, suggesting the severity of the recession might have eased.
