Business leaders are welcoming statements by the National, Labour and Green parties that they are prepared to discuss a multi-party deal on an emissions trading law.
The New Zealand Business Council for Sustainable Development – advocates for emissions pricing since 2003 – says the country needs “greater buy-in to sensible long term policy”.
