National’s climate “dividend” isn’t really a dividend - and could increase emissions

Yesterday the National Party announced a “climate dividend” amid much fanfare as part of its $14.6 billion package of tax cuts.
However experts say it doesn’t fit the definition of a dividend, and some say it could even lead to an increase in harmful greenhouse gas emissions.
