Energy minister Megan Woods says the national policy statement intended to make resource consenting for renewable electricity generation projects easier is near completion.
Her comments came after National released its ‘Electrify NZ’ policy which focussed on promises to make renewable electricity generation and transmission consents almost automatic within a set of broad conditions.
