New Zealand must do more than simply participate at Montreal’s UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15) taking place this week - any agreements must translate to law and policy reform here, according to a local expert.
Julie Deslippe, Rutherford Discovery Fellow and senior lecturer at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington School of Biological Sciences, says Aotearoa is particularly vulnerable to biodiversity loss.
