Lawyers to launch association for climate change officers

A professional association of senior executives responsible for climate change and energy will launch in the United States within the next six to 18 months.
The body is provisionally known as the Association of Corporate Climate Change Officers (ACCCO). But the name might be changed before the official launch, to reflect that many executives responsible for organisations’ climate change strategies are energy officers, and also to reflect interest in joining from climate change officers in government and non-profit bodies.
