Climate change minister James Shaw says New Zealand’s commitment to 1.5 degrees is “absolutely essential.”
Shaw was responding to a High Court decision, released on Wednesday, which found the Zero Carbon Act’s commitment to the 1.5 degrees pathway was “aspirational” rather than “obligatory.”
