Govt considering setting up its own secondary carbon market

The government has asked for thoughts on it running a centrally-cleared secondary carbon market as another option to existing markets.
The Ministry for the Environment has released a Request for Information (RFI) seeking information on an “optional” centrally cleared market for the NZUs and how this might work in reality.
