Over 11,000 animals, fungi and plants have climate change and severe weather listed as a threat on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, across every region of the world.
The Red List Index shows trends in overall extinction risk. It reveals that corals are the fastest declining group of species, while amphibians are, on average, the most threatened animal group.
