Hawke's Bay to develop emissions reduction plan

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council has voted to develop the region’s first emissions reduction plan, aiming to reach net zero by 2050.
The decision comes off the back of the first carbon footprint report for the region, and for each of the four city and district councils, which will be used as a baseline for an emissions reduction plan.
