Financial Markets Authority taken to task for failing to call out greenwashing

THE Financial Markets Authority has been accused of breaching its own code of conduct and failing to properly enforce ethical standards by refusing to define what makes an investment ethical.
The Wise Response Society – a coalition of prominent scientists, engineers, artists, and sports people, whose patrons are Sir Geoffrey Palmer and Sir Alan Mark – has lodged two formal complaints with the FMA over what it says are breaches of the authority’s code for Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
