Federated Farmers “devastated” stations sold to offshore forestry interests

FEDERATED Farmers says the sale of 6000 hectares of sheep and beef farming land to an overseas buyer for forestry is “devastating” for the East Coast.
However the Forest Owners Association says concern that overseas buyers will use the land purely for carbon farming is unfounded and equates to accusing credible companies of intending to break the law.
