Carbon gets back some strength

Carbon rallied Friday on the back of firm electricity prices in Germany and a bounce in oil prices, but the rise was subdued and more of a correction and consolidation after recent heavy falls.
The market is still getting used to the impact of the recession and how severe it might be. US job losses soared to a 14-year high on Friday, confirming all is not well and that the recession there may be prolonged and severe.
