THE COUNTRY’S newest carbon platform has done its first trade.
State-owned electricity-grid company Transpower raised eyebrows when it announced in March last year that it was moving into the carbon market, with National Party climate spokesperson Scott Simpson saying the secondary market should be left to the private sector.
