FRIDAY POLITICS: Government in a flurry

IT'S BEEN a busy week for our politicians, with lots of behind-the-scenes flurrying over the looming release of the Climate Change Commission’s first report.
Climate minister James Shaw had a conversation with new United States climate envoy John Kerry on Tuesday, saying after the call the two countries share an objective of “raising global ambition ahead of the global climate talks in Glasgow at the end of the year” yet another indication the Government will increase New Zealand’s 2030 emissions reduction target.
