Carbon trading band-aid solution, report tells Philippines

The Philippines has been told it must not over rely on the carbon credits scheme in pursuing clean energy projects because the scheme is a short-term approach to the problem.
A discussion paper written by Anna Mae Tuazon ,of the Asian Institute of Management Policy Center, said that although there are bright prospects for carbon credit trading, the scheme should be regarded as an intermediate solution to the problem of rapid climate change.
