Carbon-zero public sector could include State investments

THE GOVERNMENT will decide in March whether a carbon-neutral public service will include the State’s investment portfolios.
Yesterday saw the declaration in Parliament of a climate emergency and the launch of the Carbon-Neutral Government Programme, promising the State-sector will be at net-zero emissions by 2025.
