Bank to ban companies using coal

The ANZ Bank says it will not take on any new customers using coal, and that by 2030 it will finance gas and renewable power generation only.
The announcement, from chief executive Mark Whelan, means all four major banks operating in New Zealand and Australia are now "screening" customers for coal usage.
