EDITORIAL: An end to endless growth

EARLIER this year, two economists warned that meeting the Paris Agreement was likely to require negative economic growth.

Their paper, published in International Journal of Political Economy, did not get a lot of public attention – possibly because the covid-19 pandemic was dominating headlines, but more likely because it is a message no-one wants to hear.
