Climate commission gives election advice

THE CLIMATE Change Commission wants political parties and voters to assess election promises against its set of climate principles.
The commission, set up under zero-carbon legislation passed last year, is responsible for advising Parliament on carbon budgets and assessing progress in achieving them.
