Professor Ross Garnaut ... Australia must push hard for global agreement.

Australia should have an emissions reduction target of 10 per cent by 2010 and 80 per cent by 2050, the latest Garnaut report is recommending.

Professor Ross Garnaut, the Australian government’s adviser on climate change, has just released a supplementary draft report in which he put numbers on his earlier recommendations for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
