Make climate-risk a must, urges Carr

THE CLIMATE Change Commission has again told the Government that assessing the climate impact of projects should be mandatory under a new fast-track consenting process.
The Covid-19 Recovery (Fast-Track Consenting) Bill passed its first reading under urgency last week and is now before Parliament’s Environment Select Committee.
