Parliament does major job on ETS

PARLIAMENT has passed major changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme, bringing agricultural emissions into the scheme and, for the first time, setting a cap on emissions.
The Climate Change Response (Emissions Trading Reform) Amendment Bill passed its third reading yesterday by 63 votes to 57, locking in the biggest changes to the scheme in a decade.
