Shaw pushes hard for climate risk reporting

THE GOVERNMENT is talking to the External Reporting Board about developing the system for compulsory disclosure of climate risk to businesses.
Climate minister James Shaw told an online seminar on financial disclosure last night that he hopes to get legislation on the disclosure of financial risk to climate change in place before the general election in September.
