THE Sustainable Business Council is calling for a cross-party consensus over the spending of covid-19 pandemic recovery money on decarbonising the economy.
It is offering to mobilise the private sector behind Government proposals, announced in last week’s Budget, to spend billions of dollars keeping people in work – but says it must also be used for economic transformation.
