THE NATIONAL PARTY wants changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme put on hold for a year, citing economic uncertainty caused by the covid-19 pandemic.
“National members are concerned that this bill will add further cost, uncertainty and inhibitors to economic recovery at a time when we are facing the greatest economic challenge of our lifetime,” they have told Parliament.
