Greened AAUs are trading at €11. This equates to NZ$23.11, versus the December 2012 CER equivalent price of NZ$48.88. (€23.26), reports broker OMFinancial.
We are waiting for the final details, but our understanding is that the New Zealand emissions trading scheme, which has had its second reading and should be law by the time of the election in October or November, will allow greened AAUs in the first compliance period.
